The RealTimeData (RTD) function, provided through Microsoft Excel®, is used to access real-time data from a COM server.
You can use RTD functionality with CQG Trader to access real-time contract and order data (30+ data points) and to use that data in Excel spreadsheets. You can also copy Quote Spreadsheet cells (contract, open, high, low, day’s last trade) as RTD formulas into Excel.
RTD requires an enablement. Once enabled, turn on RTD in one of two ways:
•click the RTD menu item, then click Enable RTD.
•right-click the quote display title bar, click RTD, then click Enable RTD.
